A Musical Celebration of Lost Genius

"LEST WE FORGET/2018" is a music special
whose sole purpose is to celebrate and honor some of
the
many important musicians who sadly passed away in 2018.
It is a series of musical tribute segments that feature
some of the finest studio musicians in both Nashville,
TN and Philadelphia, PA. Many segments were taped at
MOXE Recording Studio in Nashville, TN. Others were
taped at Forge Recording Studio in Philadelphia, PA
and SubCat Studios in Syracuse, NY.
"LEST WE FORGET/2018" was produced by Ace
Entertainment, Inc., under the direction of veteran
producer Tom Emmi,
with support from The Yamaha Entertainment Group, Yamaha
Scandinavia, Sire Basses, Gibson Guitars, The Lake
George Arts Project, The Brook Lenfest Foundation and
Fontanel Nash ville.
Proceeds from the distribution of this program will
support the efforts of various charities that seek
to either aid musicians in crisis and/or support music
education in schools.

Randy Scruggs was a music producer, songwriter and guitarist. He won four Grammy
Awards and was twice named Musician of the Year at the Country Music Association
Awards. He was the middle son of Earl Scruggs.

Aretha Franklin
Aretha Franklin was an American singer, songwriter, civil rights activist, actress,
and pianist. She began her career as a child singing gospel. At the age of 18,
she embarked on a secular career, first recording for Columbia Records, and later
with Atlantic Records. Hit songs such as “Respect,” “Chain
of Fools,” “Baby, I Love You,” and “(You Make Me Feel
Like) A Natural Woman” propelled her past her musical peers. By the end

Dennis Edwards was an American soul and R&B singer who was best known as
the front man in The Temptations, on Motown Records. Edwards sang with the group

Victor Wooten – Bass
Alexander Sevastian
Alexander Sevastian was a well-known virtuoso Russian-Canadian accordionist.
Much of his early education and early career was in Russia before relocating
to Canada in 2001. Sevastian won numerous prestigious accordion competitions
and developed an impressive and extensive worldwide solo career.

Cecil Taylor
Cecil Taylor was an American pianist and poet. Taylor was classically trained
and was one of the pioneers of free jazz. His music is characterized by an energetic,
physical approach, resulting in complex improvisation often involving tone clusters
